Overview:

The Grace Nation Rising Star Scholarship Program aims to support undergraduate and graduate students in their pursuit of higher education by providing financial assistance ranging from $500 to $10,000. This scholarship is designed to recognize academic excellence, leadership qualities, community involvement, and financial need.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be enrolled or accepted as full-time students at an accredited undergraduate or graduate institution. Applicants must submit a complete scholarship application, including all required documents and essays, by the specified deadline.

Selection Criteria:

• Academic achievement and potential for success in chosen field of study
• Active participation in Grace Nation ministries
• Demonstrated leadership skills and involvement in extracurricular activities
• Impactful contributions to the community through volunteer work or other service initiatives
• Clarity and coherence of written essays addressing specified prompts.

Scholarship Amount:

The scholarship award amount will vary between $500 and $10,000, depending on the applicant’s qualifications, financial need, and available funds.

Application Process:

  • Resume detailing academic achievements, extracurricular activities, and community involvement.
  • One letter of recommendation from teachers, professors, employers, or community leaders.

Essays:

Applicants must write and submit one essay (500-800 words each) by selecting one of the following prompts below:

• Reflect on a significant moment or experience in your faith journey that has shaped your values, beliefs, or sense of purpose. How do you envision integrating your faith into your academic and career pursuits?
• How has your involvement in church activities shaped your leadership skills and influenced your approach to serving others in your community?
• Describe a specific service project or outreach initiative you have participated in through your church community. How has this experience impacted your personal growth and worldview?”
